how to tell what date app an was installed on android
hmm.. I didn't realize Android had to ability to have different 'users' like windows/etc does.
Assuming she left her phone unattended, anyone could have picked it upward and used the preconfigured creditials to download an app from the google store or downloaded an APK from the internet and installed it.
At that place is not style to really know who did information technology.

They are stored in /data/app/ only unless your phone is rooted all you will see is an empty folder.
So it looks like you lot're out of luck unless y'all are rooted.

This user should be advised to use a lock screen in the future.
If this user is concerned about tracking or data theft, they should just do a factory reset on the phone. With Android, virtually everything can be re-installed easily and when the phone is tied back to the Google business relationship, all contacts from the google account will exist loaded back on to the telephone.
If there is another reason, like an expensive app was purchased, then updated past the owner, so I believe that might just end up being the cost of a lesson learned about smartphone security.

Unfortunately yous will only ever see the date the awarding was last installed. Due to the way Android operates when installing a new app. It Uninstalls the original version, and installs the new version. This is likewise why when in that location is an updated version to an App, you don't download the new major/minor changes, your phone downloads the entire awarding.
Then technically the appointment listed in the marketplace is the original install date, because it is uninstalling, and reinstalling your app.
